Robert Pichler has had always a strong atraction to esthetic imagery. Though his formal education and jobs led him into the field of electronics and communications equipment, he continued his path to learning the ins and outs of photography. 2 decades of intense business travels took him to all continents and he gained an insight into many diverse cultures.
2001 Robert Pichler moved to the USA (Texas) which again kickstarted his interest in Fashion- and Peoplephotography. This also was the start for going completely digital and he bgan taking lessions and classes in digital image retouching. He gained insight into the american photo business and over the years had several exhibitions of photography artworks as well as prints in various magazines (national and international).
After his return to his home country Austria, Robert Pichler focused on his work on fashion- and advertising/commercial work.
2011 was the year of change as Robert Pichler successfully completed the official exam to get the title 'master photographer', which is essential for legaly accepting photographic orders. Together with his business partner Robert May opened a new, state-of-the-art photo studio in viennas 18th district.
